Maurice H. Trenteseaux, 80, of Seekonk, accepts a Salute to Seniors’ citation from Gregory Gelineau, head of Bankers Life and Casualty Co.’s regional office in Warwick, for volunteering at the Seekonk Senior Center. He takes on several tasks, including mailing the Council on Aging newsletter. He was featured in the February “Senior Digest.” Bankers and “Senior Digest” sponsor the salute program to highlight the accomplishments and contributions made by older adults. Trenteseaux invaluable to Seekonk COA

    SEEKONK – When the staff at the town’s Department of Human Services and Council on Aging (COA) needs extra help, the go-to person is Maurice H. Trenteseaux.
    “He is a great volunteer, a great asset,” said Bernadette Huck, director of the department. “He is one of the first people to volunteer. We are very fortunate to have him. He is so dedicated and loyal that you might think he was holding down a full-time job here.”
