My firm assists many families seeking state aid for nursing home costs. Sometimes the clients have had experiences such as the recent gifting of money or might continue to have assets or income that in their mind renders them ineligible for assistance. Therefore, they spend their hard earned assets at an alarming rate until all or most of those assets are depleted. Fortunately, there are a surprising number of ways to address those problems and obtain state aid for nursing home expenses.
