Alzheimer's Association offers advice to caregivers

    For the first time in 10 years, the Alzheimer’s Association-Rhode Island Chapter recently held a conference for caregivers, with 30 workshops and a keynote address by David Troxel, author of “Best Friends Approach to Caregiving.”

   Teenagers such as Brianna Montecalvo are easy to boast about. Brianna is following a path to success by being a good student, participating in sports, helping the community and sharing her generous spirit with a local charity, the Alzheimer’s Association Rhode Island Chapter.

Live & Learn program offered in 5 locations

    One of the newest programs at the Rhode Island Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is Live & Learn. It is for people in the early stages of memory loss, and the program is offered in five locations. The locations and when the program is conducted at each site follows.
