    Deeds, deeds, deeds. What are they? Clients sometimes come into our office asking for a deed, sometimes a very specific deed such as a quit claim deed, sometimes confused with that mythological creature, a “quick-claim” deed.

    When it comes to addressing legal concerns regarding illnesses and/or passing away, my advice is to keep an eye on the “simple stuff.”
    I frequently see situations where a client made certain assumptions and because it appeared to be a “simple” matter, there supposedly was no need to see an attorney. Sometimes it has to do with assets as “simple” as bank accounts or real estate. There are other times when a client might have read and interpreted some “simple” legal documents such as a last will and testament or a power of attorney.
